After looking for a community to engage with about social justice issues and social change, she discovered UACT and GCO in the spring of 2021. Elaina is passionate about Black Lives Matter and equitable education. As the outreach coordinator she hopes to help other people passionate about social change find GCO!
Stonks is a double Theater and Anthropology major with a concentration in Archaeology. Half of her life was spent in Idaho and the other half in Virginia, until she finished her last two years of high school in Massachusetts, which led her to the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and the UACT program within. When not doing schoolwork, Stonks enjoys reading, hammocking, singing, and teaching herself guitar.
