GCO Spring 2021 - Applications Available!

COVID hasn't stopped communities from organizing for justice, and it won't stop UACT's Grassroots Community Organizing class! GCO is for UMass Amherst, Hampshire, Smith, Mt. Holyoke, and Amherst College students who want to get a foundational understanding of community organizing through theory, deep community-building, and direct work with local and regional community organizers and leaders. This five-credit course will be held remotely this spring, and you won't want to miss it. Applications are due NOVEMBER 22, so hit the APPLY button today!

New online class Fall 2020!

Organizing for New Movement Leaders

UACT alumni are offering a Fall 2020 organizing class for new and emerging activists who are on the frontlines of racial justice struggles. Build community, gain skills, and learn from movement leaders around the country! Organizing for New Movement Leaders is for students anywhere in the United States, and is offered through UMass Amherst's University Without Walls. It is a 3-credit class that begins August 27th. Applications due July 31! Learn more and apply here
